Roll Up a Character is a free, AI-assisted D&D 5e character and encounter generator, provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We may change, rate-limit, or discontinue any part of it at any time. We aim for rules accuracy, but generated content can contain mistakes — please verify anything important before using it in play.

Game rules and content come from the SRD 5.1 under CC-BY-4.0, and trademarks belong to their owners — see our Legal & Attribution page. We are not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Foundry VTT, Roll20, or any other tool referenced on the site.

• You’re responsible for the prompts you submit. Don’t use the service to generate unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
• Characters, NPCs, portraits, and maps you generate are yours to use freely for your own games, including at the table and in your own campaigns.
• We may remove content, rate-limit, or block access to protect the service from abuse.
• The software, design, and brand of Roll Up a Character remain ours.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roll Up a Character is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Your sole remedy if you’re unhappy with the service is to stop using it.
